I was away on vacation a few weeks ago – I spent an entire week at Ocean Isle Beach in North Carolina with my family relaxing by the ocean just listening to the sounds of the waves crashing on the shore. The house that we stayed in was perfect – except for one thing that I noticed as soon as I tried to get my first drink. There were no Tervis Tumblers in the house.
Now if you’ve never had the experience of drinking out of a Tervis Tumbler this might sound weird to you, so let me explain. I was first introduced to Tervis Tumblers just a few short years ago when my Tervis salesperson gave me a sample to take home and try. I immediately fell in love and have drank almost exclusively from Tervis Tumblers since then.
Tervis Tumblers are the perfect drink ware for anywhere, but if there is one place that they’re a necessity then it is at the beach. First of all, Tervis Tumblers are insulated like nothing else – these tumblers really keep your drinks cold while you’re sitting in the hot sun all day. You could fill up your Tervis in the morning with ice and it will last almost all day long. And that’s no lie!
The second thing that makes Tervis Tumblers so great is the fact that they do not sweat. This, of course, is great for indoors because you can set them anywhere without a coaster without having to worry about those pesky white rings on a table. But a often overlooked benefit is that by not sweating your Tervis Tumbler will not pick up sand like a normal cup will. That means your hands stay cleaner and your tumbler does also..
Another reason why Tervis is so great for the beach in the summer? Two words – Ice Cream. I don’t know about your family, but anytime my family gets together we inevitably have ice cream with us. Tervis Tumblers (especially the 17oz mugs with a handle) makes the perfect ice cream container. They’ll keep your ice cream as cold as it was when you scooped it until the very last bite. And since all Tervis Tumblers are dishwasher safe when you’re done just toss them in the washer and head back out to the beach. What could be easier than that?
