I was talking with a customer a few days ago who had never used a Tervis Tumbler before. I was trying to explain all of the benefits of them to her – the way that they are insulated so they keep hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold. The way that you don’t have to use a coaster with them and they are practically condensation-free. The fact that it can go from the microwave to the freezer to the dishwasher – all without damaging the tumbler in any way. She then looked at me and said – it’s just a cup though.

Well, yeah, I guess technically that is all that it is. But if you’ve used a Tervis Tumbler before then you know it’s so much more than that. Here are some of the ways that I use my Tervis Tumblers:

• To drink out of (of course, it is a cup after all)
• Eat soup out of the 17oz mug – you’d be surprised at just how convenient this is. You can cook a pot of soup, put it in the Tervis Tumbler, clean the pot – and when you get back to actually eating it the soup will still be piping hot (in fact if you don’t like your soup too hot then this might not even be a good option for you as it really does make the soup hold the heat).
• Ice Cream Sundae anyone? Fill a 12oz tumbler with some ice cream, strawberries, and some hot chocolate sauce. I’ve done this before with some strawberries at the bottom of the tumbler and by the time I got down to the strawberries they were actually a little frozen. That’s the power of a Tervis Tumbler.
• Heating up formula/breast milk: OK, this can be accomplished so many ways. But I do use my Tervis Tumbler to heat up my nine month old daughter’s milk. The 17oz mug and 24oz Big-T’s are perfect for this. I prefer the 17oz mug because it is the widest of all of the tumblers. You can fill it with warm water and place the bag of milk into the tumbler and it’ll warm it up in no time.
