This is a pattern that we have carried in our stores for a few years now. It’s done well at some times and at other times it has just kind of sat on the shelves – but for whatever reason, we have had a number of purchases of this quilt recently from our website so I wanted to mention it. Sometimes when I see something on our shelves every day I tend to forget about it – and it takes something like the recent action on it to bring it back to my attention. So here goes…
This pattern is called Courtney. This is a red and white stripe pattern that is actually quite simple. There’s not much to it – but that really makes it a great pattern because you can dress it up or down depending on what you are looking for in your particular room. For instance during this past Christmas we had this Courtney quilt featured on one of our beds and we dressed it up with a few red & green Christmas accent pillows – doing this one simple addition which wouldn’t cost more than $20 or $30 really changed the entire look of the bedding. And the best thing is that at the end of Christmas you can take the pillows off and go back to just the regular red and white striped pattern.
There’s only a few options with this quilt – standard size pillow shams and two different accent pillows and that’s it. But if you are looking for a red and white striped quilt then you have found it: Courtney by C&F.
