Unbreakable Tervis Tumbler
Unbreakable is a strong word – I know that. So maybe I should correct myself and say “virtually indestructible” as Tervis likes to say themselves. But whatever word you choose just know that it’s the truth. I witnessed this myself this morning when I left for work.
On my way out the door, I grabbed my South Carolina Flag Big-T Tervis Tumbler filled with ice water, like I normally do. I got to my car and set my drink on the top of my car while I put some other things in. I was waving goodbye to my one year old daughter through the window and completely forgot about my drink. I got in my car and backed up down the drive way – the drink actually stayed on top of the car (which is surprising to me, since I drive a Jeep and it’s a little rough) until I got to the curb at the end of the driveway. All of a sudden I heard a loud banging sound and at that moment I remembered that I had left my drink on top of my car.
Oh well, I thought, I knew that Tervis had a lifetime warranty so I figured I would have to send that tumbler in to get it replaced. But I couldn’t have been more wrong – I stepped out of my car to grab the drink and lo and behold there it was – practically in the same condition as it was a few minutes before. Sure, it had gained a couple of more scratches (or beauty marks, as I like to call them) but it was still in practically perfect condition. That just reminded me of one of the many reasons why I only drink out of Tervis Tumblers anymore. They’re great in the summer too – because they can help keep your ice cold beverages at just the right temperature.
